Is Costco open or closed on Memorial Day?
Unfortunately for fans of free samples and warehouse shopping, Costco will be closed on Memorial Day.
According to Costco customer service, the warehouse chain is closed on seven holidays every year:

Additionally, there is a location in Florence, Kentucky, in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Most Costco stores open at 10 a.m. local time on weekdays, and executive members can shop earlier, beginning at 9 a.m.
When is Memorial Day 2026?
Memorial Day is a federal holiday and the United States’ annual day to mourn and honor those who died serving in the armed forces. It is observed annually on the last Monday in May, according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
This year, it will be observed on Monday, May 25, 2026.
While many people may be able to enjoy a three-day weekend, Memorial Day is a one-day observance.
