I know what Acton did
Re “Amy Acton hurt my sons. I am still fuming | Letters,” July 16: Here is the rest of the story. I also remember what Amy Acton did – she erred on the side of caution during the period when very little was known about COVID-19.Acton shut down public schools because she knew that it would be easier to remedy the social development of your sons than it would be to raise them from the dead. She knew that shutting down small businesses would have been easier to reopen if the owners were still alive. She knew that those not visiting family members would be better than visiting them one last time in a funeral home.
She knew what she did not know, and she made the difficult choices that others could not make to protect the people of Ohio from spreading that killer COVID-19 virus to others.Amy Acton acted responsibly when others could not even admit that a killer COVID-19 was waiting to be spread.Amy Acton definitely has this Republican’s vote.
