A Stark County woman was one of three winners in an Ohio game show earlier this month.
Kim, of Canton; David, of Zanesville; and Nikki from Colliers, West Virginia, were the three winners in the “Cash Explosion” game show, according to an Ohio Lottery July 22 news release. The release did not include last names.
All three got to cash in on thousands as part of the Independence Day-themed prize.
David won the top prize of $50,000. He and his girlfriend hosted a star-spangled watch party and plan to use their winnings for a trip or a new car, the release said.
Kim came in second and took home $46,200. “She considers the whole experience the best birthday present ever,” the release said.
The third winner was Nikki, who earned $44,600 during her cross-state trip. She is eyeing a vintage car with her newfound money.
Every week, the Ohio Lottery selects eight contestants to appear on Cash Explosion. Every player on Cash Explosion is guaranteed to win at least $6,100.
