It’s the final day of the Section 1 softball championships at North Rockland High School in Thiells.
Eastchester (Class AA), Pearl River (A) and Tuckahoe (Class C) were crowned champions on Sunday, advancing to state regionals.

Section 1 championships
Section 1 Class AAA final at North Rockland High School, Thiells: No. 1 North Rockland vs. No. 2 Clarkstown South, 4 p.m.
Section 1 Class B final at North Rockland High School, Thiells: No. 1 Dobbs Ferry vs. No. 2 Haldane, 6:30 p.m.
No. 1 North Rockland vs. No. 2 Clarkstown South
Middle 4th: Another 1-2-3 inning for Tara Murphy. North Rockland 2, Clarkstown South 2.
Middle 3rd: Clarkstown South ties the score on RBI from Giordana Vasi and Eama Rosario. North Rockland 2, Clarkstown South 2.
End 2nd: North Rockland left a runner stranded on third with two outs. North Rockland 2, Clarkstown South 0.
Middle 2nd: Murphy throws a 1-2-3 inning for the Red Raiders. North Rockland 2, Clarkstown South 0.
End 1st: Tara Murphy and Melody Nardone each get RBI to give North Rockland a 2-0 lead. North Rockland 2, Clarkstown South 0.
