Josh Allen has spent his career making a name for himself.
Now his daughter has one of her own.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback and his wife, actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld, revealed their baby girl is named Harper Haize Allen.
Steinfeld shared the name in a letter to her daughter published through her Beau Society newsletter, more than two months after the couple announced Harper’s birth.
“Dearest Harper,” Steinfeld began. “I’m in awe of you.”
Allen and Steinfeld welcomed their first child in April but did not publicly reveal her name until now.

Steinfeld reflected on motherhood and the first few months with her daughter in the letter.
“You’ve been here for only a short while now, and somehow it feels as though you’ve always been ours,” Steinfeld wrote. “There are moments … I still look at you and wonder how you’re real.”
Steinfeld wrote about the everyday realities of being a new parent, from naps and diaper changes to watching her daughter grow.
“Your daddy and I look at you often and ask each other the same question: How did we get so lucky to have you?” Steinfeld wrote.
Allen shared Steinfeld’s announcement on his Instagram story, adding a heart and emotional face emoji.

Allen said becoming a father has changed his perspective as he prepares for his ninth NFL season with the Bills.
“I do think this is going to be the best version of myself in all aspects, my professional career and my personal life,” Allen said during Bills offseason workouts.
Allen credited Steinfeld for helping him balance football and fatherhood.
“I’ve got an absolute rockstar of a wife that’s doing so many things right now and allowing me to be here right now and be with my teammates,” Allen said.

Allen and Steinfeld announced Harper’s birth on April 2.
“Our baby girl has arrived!!” Steinfeld wrote at the time. “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
The couple announced Steinfeld’s pregnancy in December 2025, seven months after getting married.

Allen and Steinfeld married May 31, 2025, at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California.
They were first linked together in 2023, got engaged in November 2024 and made their red carpet debut together at the NFL Honors ceremony when Allen won the 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player award.
