Binghamton Weekly Weather Forecast: Expect warm temperatures, possible showers and storms

Following a heat advisory on July 7, temperatures will drop alongside possible storms and showers in the Binghamton area this week.

Expect temperatures to remain in the low to mid-80s during the daytime, with nighttime temperatures hovering around 65 degrees. Precipitation is likely, with low chances of showers and thunderstorms on July 8 and heightened chances on July 10, broken up by a sunny day on July 9.

Skies will remain mostly cloudy during the night, while temperatures will drop to around 63 degrees. Expect a calm wind and 30% chance of precipitation, with scattered showers before 7 p.m.

Wednesday, July 9

Clouds will break on July 9 for a partly sunny day, with a light wind and high near 85 degrees.

The night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 65 degrees. Expect a 20% chance of precipitation, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m.

Thursday, July 10

Showers may darken a partly sunny day on July 10 with showers and thunderstorms likely between 2-5 p.m., then a possible thunderstorm and likely showers after 5 p.m.. Expect a 60% chance of precipitation, with temperatures peaking around 84 degrees.

The night will bring mostly cloudy skies, with a low around 65 degrees. There will be a 60% chance of precipitation, with showers likely and a possible thunderstorm before 8 p.m.
