The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game is set for Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. CT on ABC from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The All-Star showcase is set to take place on Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever’s home floor. Will Clark be participating, though?
Unfortunately, Clark announced on Thursday afternoon that she wouldn’t be competing in either the 3-Point Contest or the WNBA All-Star Game.
“I am incredibly sad and disappointed to say I can’t participate in the 3-Point Contest or the All-Star Game. I have to rest my body,” Clark wrote in her Thursday announcement.
Fever teammate Lexie Hull replaced Clark in the 3-Point Contest. New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu won the 3-Point Contest on Friday night after her teammate, Natasha Cloud, won the skills challenge.
The WNBA also revealed that Washington Mystics guard Brittney Sykes would replace Clark on Team Clark against Team Collier on Saturday night.
Clark will still be in attendance for the WNBA All-Star Game and will assist Team Clark head coach Sandy Brondello. Clark drafted her WNBA All-Star Game team in early July and assembled quite the roster.
In addition to her replacement, Clark welcomes Fever forward Aliyah Boston, Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell, Mystics guard Sonia Citron, Mystics forward Kiki Iriafen, Liberty guard Ionescu, Dream forward Brionna Jones, Valkyries forward Kayla Thornton, Storm forward Gabby Williams, Aces center A’ja Wilson and Aces guard Jackie Young to her squad.
