The Madison Rams picked up an impressive extra-inning 3-2 nonconference win over Highland on Saturday morning.
Ashton Taylor led the Rams with two hits while Kylor Steagall, Aiden Proctor, Landon Parsons and Carter Branham had one apiece. Steagall and Parson had one RBI apiece.
Carson Cook worked the first six innings allowing two runs on seven hits with two strikeouts. Liam Stone earned the win allowing no runs on one hit in two innings of relief work.
The Rams improved to 9-12 and hosted Shelby in the second game of a doubleheader.
Madison 5, Shelby 4
The Madison Rams picked up an impressive 5-4 nonconference win over the Shelby Whippets on Saturday.
Liam Stone led the Rams with two hits while Kylor Steagall, Aiden Proctor, Grady Spurlock, Julian Washington and Mason Morrow had one apiece. Proctor and Morrow collected two RBIs apiece while Stone had one.
Ashton Taylor picked up the win on the mound allowing four runs on five hits with two strikeouts in four innings of work. Stone earned the save allowing one hit with three strikeouts in a flawless seventh inning.
Kaleb Stairs led Shelby with two hits while Brady Bowman, Quinton Albert, Cole Dorsey, Travis Slone, Nate Lykins, Brock Fisher, Casyn Koch and Conner Hartz had one apiece. Dorsey collected two RBIs while Lykins and Koch had one apiece.
Stairs pitched well enough to win allowing five runs, just two earned, on six hits with five strikeouts in six innings of work.
Madison improves to 10-12 and travels to Dover on May 12 while Shelby falls to 10-9 and travels to Marion Harding on the same day.
Lexington 8, Bowling Green 6
The Lexington Minutemen picked up a solid 8-6 nonconference win over Bowling Green on Saturday in the first game of a doubleheader.
Cole Eichorn and Graham Clark led the Minutemen with three hits apiece while Jackson Eichorn had two. Clark collected four RBIs while Cole Eichorn and Carson Fisher had one apiece.
Fisher worked four innings of relief allowing one run on two hits with two strikeouts.
The Minutemen improved to 11-8 and played BG in an afternoon game.
Lexington 15, Bowling Green 0 F/5
The Minutemen cruised to a 15-0 win over BG in Game 2 of a nonconference doubleheader.
Brayden Vance led the Minutemen with four hits while Graham Clark and Markale Martin had two apiece and Tyler Galownia, Jackson Eichorn, Cole Eichorn, Cooper Clark and Alec Mentzer had one apiece. Cole Eichorn collected three RBIs while Vance had two and Jackson Eichorn, Martin, Cooper Clark, Mentzer and Ben Young had one apiece.
Cooper Clark picked up the win on the mound allowing no runs on three hits with no strikeouts in four innings of work.
The Minutemen improved to 12-8 and host Norwalk on May 11.

The Crestview Cougars took a tough 5-1 Firelands Conference loss to St. Paul on Saturday morning.
Brayden Parrigan, Drew Spoerr and Kayn Patton had one hit apiece while Grady Cline collected the lone RBI.
Colton Ernandes pitched well enough to win allowing four runs, just two earned, on three hits with 10 strikeouts.
The Cougars fall to 8-7 and travel to Western Reserve on May 12.
Western Reserve 24, Mansfield Senior 0 F/4
The Mansfield Senior Tygers took a 24-0 nonconference loss to Western Reserve on Saturday.
Edwin Rivera Ramos and Kevin Rivera Ramos had one hit apiece for the Tygers.

The Lexington Minutemen picked up a 12-11 Ohio Cardinal Conference win over Ashland on Thursday night.
Cole Eichorn led the Minutemen with three hits while Jackson Eichorn, Graham Clark and Ben Young had two apiece and Caleb Murfield had one. Jackson and Cole Eichorn had two RBIs apiece while Tyler Galownia, Clark and Young had one apiece.

The Minutemen improved to 10-8 and travel to Bowling Green on May 9 for a doubleheader.

The Plymouth Big Red picked up a narrow 4-3 Firelands Conference victory over the Crestview Cougars on Thursday night.
Lucas Distl led the Big Red with two hits while Lincoln Distl, Keegan Beverly, Jarrett Burrer, Evan King and Sean Winfield had one apiece. Lincoln Distl had two RBIs while Burrer and King had one apiece.

The Shelby Whippets picked up a solid 11-7 Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference win over Pleasant on Wednesday night.
Brady Bowman, Quinton Albert and Kaleb Stairs led the way with two hits apiece while Travis Slone, Nate Lykins and Brock Fisher had one apiece. Bowman collected four RBIs while Stairs had two and Albert, Slone, Casyn Koch and Conner Hartz had one apiece. Albert slugged a home run in the win.
Hartz took the win on the mound allowing seven runs, just four earned, on eight hits with four strikeouts in five innings of work. Slone picked up the save working the final two innings allowing one hit with five strikeouts.
The Whippets improve to 10-8 and travel to Madison on May 8.

The Lexington Minutemen picked up an easy 10-1 Ohio Cardinal Conference win over Ashland on Wednesday night.

Hartz collected four RBIs while Bowman had two and Staris had one. Bowman delivered the game-winning, RBI base hit in the bottom of the seventh to pick up the win.

Landon Parsons led the Rams with three hits while Ashton Taylor, Kylor Steagall and Grady Spurlock had two apiece and Owen Morrow and Aiden Proctor had one apiece. Taylor, Proctor and Parsons had two RBIs apiece while Morrow, Liam Stone and Steagall had one apiece.

Ernandes took the win on the mound with two strikeouts in four innings of scoreless relief work. Keener started the game and struck out one in three innings.

The Plymouth Big Red picked up a dramatic walk off nonconference win over Willard on Thursday night.
With no outs in the bottom of the seventh and the game tied at two apiece, Plymouth’s Lex Grose drilled a walk off 3-run home run to lift the Big Red to victory. It was his second home run of the game as he led the way for the Big Red with two hits while Lucas Distl, Evan King and Weston Kamman had one apiece. Grose collected four RBIs while Distl had two.
King had a solid day on the mound allowing one run on seven hits with eight strikeouts in six innings of work. Grose earned the win working the seventh inning allowing one run on one hit.
The Big Red improved to 2-1 and hosts Monroeville on April 6.
Ontario 5, Clear Fork 4 F/8
The Ontario Warriors picked up a dramatic walk off Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference win over Clear Fork on Thursday night to sweep the season series.
With one out and the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth, Max Ciroli drew a walk off walk to lead the Warriors to victory. Kasen Pittman led the Warriors with three hits while Trey Remy had two and Guy Trader, Jaren Holden, Ciroli, Kane Cantrell and Liam Holden had one apiece. Jaren Holden had two RBIs while Pittman, Ciroli and Remy had one apiece. Jaren Holden slugged a home run in the win.
Trader was effective on the mound allowing four runs, three earned, on five hits with 10 strikeouts in five innings of work. Cantrell picked up the win working the final three innings allowing no runs on no hits with five strikeouts.

Lincoln Distl and Lex Grose led the Big Red with two hits apiece while Keegan Beverly, Jarrett Burrer, Lucas Distl and Isaiah Miller had one hit apiece. Lincoln Distl had two RBIs while Burrer, Grose and Miller had one apiece.
Lincoln Distl earned the win on the mound allowing no runs on four hits with five strikeouts in a complete-game shutout.
The Big Red moved to 1-0 on the season and travels to Colonel Crawford on March 30.
Crestview 6, Black River 0
The Crestview Cougars picked up a 6-0 season-opening win over Black River in nonconference action on Saturday.
Brayden Parrigan and Troy Weaver led the way with two hits apiece while Drew Spoerr, Carson Keener and Colton Ernandes had one hit apiece. Keener collected two RBIs while Weaver and Ernandes had one apiece.
Spoerr picked up the win on the mound allowing just one hit with 10 strikeouts in a complete-game masterpiece.
The Cougars are now 1-0 and travel to Norwalk on March 31.
Galion 7, Lexington 5
The Lexington Minutemen took a tough 7-5 nonconference loss to Galion on Saturday.
Caleb Murfield and Graham Clark led the Minutemen with two hits apiece while Cole Eichorn, Carson Fisher and Ben Young had one hit apiece. Tyler Galownia, Murfield, Eichorn and Jackson Eichorn had one RBI apiece.
The Minutemen are 0-1 on the year and travel to New Philadelphia on March 30.
West Holmes 8, Clear Fork 4
The Clear Fork Colts took a tough 8-4 nonconference loss to West Holmes in the season opener on Saturday.
Jacob Brokaw, Hunter Rahall, Landen Perry, Brevin Bias and Gavin Domka had one hit apiece for the Colts. Brokaw, Rahall, Bias and Gracin Crunkilton had one RBI apiece.
The Colts fall to 0-1 and host South Central on March 30.
Northmor 10, Mansfield Senior 0 F/5
The Mansfield Senior Tygers took a tough 10-0 nonconference loss to Northmor on Saturday.
The Tygers did not record a hit in the loss.
Mansfield Senior falls to 0-1 and travels to Wooster on March 30.
