One person died in an early morning fire at a Licking County retirement community, NBC4/WCMH-TV reported.
Heath Fire Department crews were called to the Bill E Mitchell Retirement Village in Heath at about 1:45 a.m. Monday, NBC4 reported.
Heath fire chief Warrant McCord told the TV station that firefighters pulled a woman from the fire, but she had already died. Four more people were hospitalized with respiratory problems.
Damage from the fire was primarily contained to one unit on the first floor, NBC4 reported.
The fire department has not identified the woman who died, but McCord said he believed she was in her 70s, NBC4 reported.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
