Iowa football is hanging around vs. Oregon, and kicker Drew Stevens just ignited the Kinnick Stadium crowd.
Stevens crushed a 58-yard field goal through the rain, shattering his previous career-long (55 yards) to cut the Hawkeyes’ deficit to 15-10 early in the fourth quarter.
The kick is tied for the longest in Kinnick Stadium and program history, according to Iowa.
It was just the second score for Iowa in a game that featured limited passing offense because of the difficult weather conditions.
