Congratulations to James Oliver of Hauser on winning player of the week for Week 6. Oliver threw a complete-game shutout against Oldenburg Academy, allowing just two hits and one walk, striking out 10.
Tyler Carlos, Cathedral
Carlos batted .250 (4-for-16) with two doubles, six runs scored, four RBIs, two doubles, two stolen bases and four walks to just two strikeouts.
Desmond Francis, Park Tudor
The Notre Dame commit batted .637 (7-for-11) with 10 runs scored, nine RBIs, four doubles, two home runs and one stolen base. On the mound, Francis struck out four over 2⅔ innings against Speedway.
Quentin Harper, Lawrence North
The lefty entered the Marion County Championship in relief allowing just one earned run on five hits and two walks over 4⅔ innings, striking out six.
Jake Meriwether, Heritage Christian
The junior batted .583 (7-for-12) with five RBIs, three runs scored, two doubles and one triple. For the season, Meriwether is batting .420 with two home runs, seven doubles, two triples seven walks and 10 strikeouts.
Parker O’Steen, Hamilton Southeastern
O’Steen batted .545 (6-for-11) with two home runs, six RBIs and five runs scored. On the season, the senior is batting .349 with 10 doubles, 19 walks and 20 strikeouts.
Eli Sinsabaugh, Cathedral
The Army commit batted .400 (6-for-15) with six runs scored, five RBIs, three doubles and five stolen bases.
Brayden Smith, Decatur Central
Smith helped Decatur Central win the Marion County Championship against Lawrence North, allowing two earned runs on three hits and three walks, striking out 11. At the plate, the senior batted .300 (3-for-10) with one RBI.
Carter Strole, Fishers
The Central Michigan commit batted .667 (6-for-9) with two home runs, one double, eight RBIs, five walks, five stolen bases and eight runs scored. On the mound Strole made two appearances, striking over five over four innings scoreless innings, earning one save.
