Two Purdue basketball transfer departures after the 2024-25 season are back in the portal again.
Camden Heide became the latest to explore his transfer options again after one season at Texas. He joined Myles Colvin, who entered the transfer portal earlier this week after one season at Wake Forest.
Heide helped Texas reach the Sweet Sixteen, where it lost to Purdue in the semifinals of the West Region in San Jose. He hit a memorable 3-pointer later in a Round of 32 victory over 3-seed Gonzaga — the highlight of his season with the Longhorns.
The 6-7, 215-pound forward started 29 of 35 games played for Texas. He averaged 5.9 points and 2.7 rebounds in 22.5 minutes, shooting 45.4% from 3-point range.
Heide spent one redshirt season at Purdue after coming in with the 2022 signing class. He played in all 39 games as a reserve for the Final Four team in 2024, then started eight of 34 games as a third-year sophomore. He averaged 4.7 points and 3.6 rebounds in that second season, shooting 39.2% from 3-point range.
The transfer portal opened Tuesday and remains open through April 21. Players must submit their intent to enter the portal by that date, but do not need to pick a destination.
Purdue’s only potential departure to this point is walk-on guard Aaron Fine, who entered the portal earlier this week.
