ROCKFORD, IL — A Rockford resident who hit a Lucky Day Lotto jackpot of $200,000 last summer is on a winning streak having won three cash prizes playing the Illinois Lottery’s HotWins game since it launched in November.
The man identified as “Robert” by the Illinois Lottery most recently won a prize of $2,350 playing HotWins, adding to earlier prizes of $1,050 and $815.
“It feels different than hitting that big jackpot, but I love the play-style,” he said in a news release. “The game moves fast with a draw every four minutes — you can’t beat that speed.”
Robert told the lottery that he plans to use his latest winnings to treat himself while also investing in hisfuture.
“I guess you could say my luck is officially on fire,” he said in the release. ”Keep those HotWinscoming!”
HotWins is a retail-only draw game available at nearly 7,000 Illinois Lottery retailers, including select bars and restaurants.
Drawings take place every four minutes, giving players frequent opportunities to play throughout the day.
