You came out and placed your vote in our poll, and now it’s time to find out who you chose as the 2025-2026 Rockford-area Male Athlete of the Year.
After a school year that included plenty of highlights, with tons of stars stepping up throughout the year, you voted. And you chose Stockton’s Eli Larson, with over 26% of the total votes in the poll.
We recently announced our Rockford Register Star Male MVP of the Year, and then you went to the poll to name your Rockford-area Male Athlete of the Year for the entire school year as well. Larson held off Harlem’s Braxton Fausett, who took second in our poll.
