SPRINGFIELD, IL – Fresh off the heels of Springfield’s first 7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee opening on the west side, not even a month later the second is slated to start construction.
On July 2, Net Lease Development and general contractor Paradigm Construction were approved a commercial renovation permit for 2631 N. Dirksen Parkway valued at $675,000 to redevelop the parcel as a 7 Brew Coffee stand.
Like the first location owned by Franchise Brew Horizons LLC, which has over 30 of the popular coffee chain locations across Alabama, Illinois, Michigan and Florida, Net Lease will be the jumping platform for a 7 Brew franchisee to open shop.
2599 Wabash LLC, the LLC which demolished and renovated the space where Beef O’Bradys was to transform it into the first 7 Brew in the city, is owned by Benito Hidalgo.
Under his Texas-based LLC, Hidalgo renovates commercial properties meant to be rented out or sold to franchisees and across 35 states has over 100 projects. You can find the full list of projects at netleasedevelopment.com.
While no official timeline has been given, over the Fourth of July weekend movement has already been made.
The Starbucks on Dirksen Parkway can only watch as just across the street from the current north side parcel, the white building on the property has already been demolished and fences are up to start construction on the property.
