ROCKFORD, IL — Police are investigating a June 21 shooting that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man.
According to the police department, officers responded about 4:45 p.m. to the Circle K gas station at 1030 E. State St. in Rockford.
Upon arrival, officers found a 20-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound inside a parked vehicle, the release states. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests or charges were announced.
