NFL analyst is all-in on Bears QB Caleb Williams for MVP

There is plenty of hype surrounding Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams heading into the 2026 season, with one analyst willing to go all-in on the third-year quarterback taking another massive step in his development.

Coming off a breakout second year in the league, his first with head coach Ben Johnson, Williams is climbing up the ranks in the NFL betting world when it comes to odds for MVP, and one analyst believes the Bears franchise leader is the name to bet on. Last season, Williams led the Bears to an 11-win season, taking his team all the way tot he NFC divisional playoffs, while setting the franchise record for single-season passing yards and rejuvenating the city of Chicago.

Recently, television personality Kay Adams, host of the “Up and Adams Show” said that she is going all-in on betting on Williams to win the 2026 MVP, at +1500 odds on FanDuel, explaining the trajectory of Williams’ career under his young head coach.

“Dark Horse MVP, I don’t know why he’s a dark horse, Caleb Williams, ever heard of him?” Adams said. “Cover of Madden. I just want to show his footage and remember these amazing highs we got from Caleb Williams, the aura off the charts, chemistry is building, confidence is building. Got better every game, the talent’s there. He was working miracles last year.

“Everything we’re hearing out of Chicago is how he’s been getting more comfortable and confident with Ben Johnson this offseason, dialed in. As great as he was last year, I do think the ceiling is much higher. I see people point out the completion percentage, some of the areas for improvement, like it’s a bad thing. What is wrong with you people? He won 11 games and pushed for a Super Bowl despite all of that, can you imagine what it would look like if he cleaned all that stuff up? Caleb Williams +1500? I’m all in on that.”

Adams did address the continuous narrative of criticism surrounding Williams, including his low completion percentage (58.1%) in comparison among the league’s best. If Williams does clean up the few flaws he showed in his sophomore season, it could not only do wonders for his push in the 2026 MVP race, and more than likely plenty of success for the Bears this upcoming year as well.
