The Miami Dolphins dropped to 1-5 on the year with a heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The bright side for Mike McDaniel and co. is that their next opponent is 1-5 as well.
The Cleveland Browns’ only win was a surprising 13-10 upset of the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. Since then, they’ve lost three straight, including a 23-9 loss Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
But in a battle of two teams in contention for the top pick in the 2026 NFL draft, oddsmakers aren’t convinced that the Dolphins’ struggles won’t continue in Cleveland.

Dolphins vs. Chargers early injury report
The Dolphins were without four players due to injury in Week 6: safety Elijah Campbell, linebacker Tyrel Dodson, cornerback Storm Duck, and wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr.
For the Browns, the big injury concern is tight end David Njoku who suffered a knee injury in their Week 6 loss. The severity isn’t yet known, but there’s a good chance Cleveland will be without the former Pro Bowler.
