By the end of May 30, unless rain gets involved, either the Knights or the Panthers will already reside in the finals of the Auburn Regional. The winner will have the upper hand, too, due to its unblemished record in the double-elimination format.
Those are the stakes when the two squads meet at 8 p.m. at Plainsman Park.

UCF got here with a 9-3 victory over North Carolina State. It took more than 16 hours to complete due to rain suspending play just before midnight Friday and causing a resumption for the final inning and a half Saturday afternoon. Andrew Williamson blasted three home runs before weather became uncooperative to spearhead the win.
Milwaukee launched one of the early stunners of the NCAA Tournament by upsetting Auburn 13-8.
