New restaurant packs ramen, cocktails and high energy into Cocoa Beach

Dirty Noodz Ramen & Sake Bar is now open in downtown Cocoa Beach, bringing late-night ramen bowls, sake flights and a splash of Tokyo to the beachside strip.

The new 121-seat restaurant is at 26 S. Atlantic Ave., taking over and transforming the former Subway space. The vibe is high energy, fast and casual, decorated with murals, neon accents and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Opening at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 19, Dirty Noodz regular hours will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight.

The restaurant comes from local owner Daniel Todd, who also operates 4th Street Fillin Station, Dirty Birds Tiki Bar & Grill and The Alibi Cocktails & Bites in Cocoa Beach. He is also the visionary behind the soon to be open Lakeside Social in Viera.

“Every restaurant we’ve built has had its own personality. Dirty Noodz is probably the boldest one yet,” Todd said in a press release.

“From the food and cocktails to the artwork, music, and atmosphere, we wanted guests to feel like they’ve stepped into something completely different from anything else on the Space Coast.”

What is on the menu?

Ramen, dumplings, fried rice bowls, sticky spareribs and other Asian street food favorites are on the menu. Standouts include brisket bao buns, crispy Katsu chicken ramen, chicken wings and plenty of vegetarian options.

Expect a focus on sake, plus imported Asian beers and a full lineup of cocktails. Drinks lean playful and bold, with options like the dirty espresso, lychee kiss and the bright pink cocktail “Pink Noise.” They also have an extensive selection of non-alcoholic drinks and dirty sodas.
