Florida State had a busy weekend hosting potential prospects for their Junior Day. There were a few first timers on campus, and three-star offensive tackle, Marcus Small, was included in that group.
The 6-foot-7, 293-pounder took to social media to gush over his time in Tallahassee. Not only did he thank several memebers of the Seminoles’ coaching staff, but he mentioned that he will return soon.
“Had an amazing time at FSU with @CoachHand , @odellhaggins and @Coach_Norvell Can’t wait to get back for a spring practice!! #noles,” Small wrote.
Small is the No. 879 overall player and the No. 78 offensive tackle in the 2027 class according to 247Sports composite rankings. They have him listed as the No. 87 prospect in the state of Florida as well.
He is currently committed to Syracuse, and they’re also the only school he’s visited besides Florida State. The next step for Seminoles is to extend an offer to Small as Bethune-Cookman and Alabama State are the only other offers he has at the moment.
In addition to that, FSU will undoubtedly look to lock in an official visit with Small at some point.
