Florida State needs some more edge help in the 2027 recruiting cycle to pair with four-star commit Anthony Cavallaro. Blue-chip prospect Santana Harvey is one of their top targets, and the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder is set to kick off his official visit schedule soon.
On June 5, FSU wil host Harvey. This will mark his third time on the Seminoles’ campus this year. He visited for a Junior Day event in January, and he also took an unofficial visit in April.
Harvey has several other teams in the mix per 247Sports. He’ll begin his official visit schedule with the Clemson Tigers on May 29, who have climbed up his list significantly over the last few months. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will host Harvey on June 9, and he’ll visit the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on June 19 as they have increased their efforts greatly this spring.
FSU is the only in-state school that’s heavily in the mix for Harvey, which is something they’re hoping will persuade him towards the Seminoles. According to the Lakeland High School star, staying near home is a vital factor.
“Florida State — the opportunity to stay home, and why not be able to have the opportunity to do it four hours away instead of a couple hours away, a couple days away from other states,” Harvey told Noles247 in April.
Harvey is the nation’s No. 284 overall recruit and the No. 35 defensive lineman per the 247Sports composite rankings. In the state of Florida, he’s the No. 26 prospect.
