Florida baseball’s contest against Georgia in the SEC Tournament entered a weather delay.
The Gators held a 7-4 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Bulldogs had a runner on first with one out. The delay officially began at 3:51 p.m. E.T.
The game is set to resume at 4:50 p.m. E.T.
Florida was in the middle of a pitching change when the rain started as the Gators were going to closer Joshua Whritenour.
According to the SEC Network broadcast, the weather expected move out quickly.
The winner of the game will advance to the SEC Tournament championship game and will face either Arkansas or Auburn, who will square off later tonight.
