A bicycle rider was flown to a hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries following a June 21 crash with a vehicle in Indiantown, a Martin County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said.
Sheriff’s officials were called about 6:15 p.m. to the incident at Southwest Warfield Boulevard and Southwest Monroe Avenue, said Christine Christofek, sheriff’s office spokesperson.
The bicycle rider was struck by a vehicle, Christofek said.
Jillian Kay, Martin County Fire Rescue spokesperson, said the bicycle rider was a teen.
He was flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach with potentially life-threatening injuries, Christofek said.
No other information was immediately available June 22.
