Examining Jaguars vs. 49ers final Week 4 injury report

Ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Week 4 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, let’s examine the injury reports for each team and the potential impact that could have on the game.

For the Jaguars, wide receiver Dyami Brown is listed as questionable. He exited Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury. After not practicing on Wednesday, he was limited on Thursday and Friday.

Brown has caught 10 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown this season. He’s added another versatile presence to the offense, lining up both outwide and in the slot, attacking each level of the field, and even getting some touches as a ball carrier.

If he can’t go, Parker Washington will take on a larger role.

Rookie offensive lineman Wyatt Milum is out as he continues to work his way back from a knee injury. He is yet to be active in a game this season.

Then added to the injury report on Friday was linebacker Yasir Abdullah with a hamstring. He hasn’t played any defensive snaps but is a core special teams contributor, playing the third-most snaps on the team.

For the 49ers, they will be getting quarterback Brock Purdy back this week. He missed the last two games with a toe injury. This, of course, gives their offense, which ranks 23rd in points per game, a big boost.

Although Purdy is back, the 49ers are navigating injuries at wide receiver. Jordan Watkins (calf) has been ruled out, while Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder) are questionable.

Also questionable are backup quarterback Mac Jones (knee), cornerback Renardo Green (neck), and offensive lineman Connor Colby (groin).

Green has started all three games at cornerback for San Francisco this season. Colby started the 49ers’ Week 3 game at left guard.

Defensive lineman CJ West (thumb) is out. The rookie has played 34 defensive snaps in a rotation role this season.
