It’s Week 5 of the college football season and Saturday’s slate of games is loaded with must-watch showdowns, with the headliner being a Top 10 showdown between Oregon (No. 6) and Penn State (No. 3). Here are 12 prospects that Green Bay Packers fans should keep tabs on this Saturday.
Oregon vs. Penn State (6:30 p.m. NBC/Peacock)
Teitum Tuioti, Edge, Oregon: A former four-star recruit, Tuioti is a sturdy run defender who stands his ground and flashes violence in his hands. Through four games this season, Tuioti has recorded 4.5 tackles for loss and 11 run stops.
Zane Durant, DT, Penn State: Durant is a twitchy presence on the interior of Penn State’s defensive line. He fires off the snap to get upfield quickly and has good lateral quickness to make plays up and down the line of scrimmage. The Penn State defensive tackle is powerful and can strong-arm offensive linemen out of his path to locate the ball carrier.
Ohio State vs. Washington (2:30 p.m. CBS)
Luke Montgomery, G, Ohio State: Montgomery started the first two games of his career last season during the College Football Playoff at left guard for the eventual National Champions. Montgomery is the full-time starter now and has given up zero sacks and one pressure through three games. Prior to becoming a full-time starter, Montgomery had taken snaps at right guard and right tackle. Montgomery may return to school next season, but if he continues to play well, he could bolt and wind up being a Day 3 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Ephesians Prysock, CB, Washington: Prysock is a lanky cornerback and is coming off his best two-game stretch of his Huskies’ career. A transfer from Arizona, Prysock is in his second year at Washington and recorded two pass deflections last week in the Apple Cup and recorded one more the week prior against UC Davis. Prysock will have his hands full on Saturday against a talented Ohio State wide receiver core. With his 6-4 frame, Prysock tightens passing windows and challenges wide receivers at the catch point.
LSU vs. Ole Miss (2:30 p.m. ABC)
Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU: Delane has been one of the best cornerbacks in the country through the first month of the college football season. The Virginia Tech transfer has been sticky in coverage and recorded four pass deflections and one interception. According to Pro Football Focus, Delane has been targed 18 times and only given up four receptions. Delane plays with confidence and doesn’t panic when the ball is the air.
Dae’Quan Wright, TE, Ole Miss: Wright, a transfer from Virginia Tech finished his first year with the Rebels last season on a terror, recording 22 receptions for 323 yards and three touchdowns over the final six games. Wright is like a freight train once he gets moving. Any defensive back in its way has a load to slow down when Wright gets rumbling downfield. Thus far this season, Wright has reeled in eight receptions for 213 yards and two touchdowns. He’s averaging 26.6 yards per reception. The Packers may be in the market for tight end depth during the 2026 NFL Draft and with his big-play ability, Wright could be a potential target.
Auburn vs. Texas A&M (2:30 p.m. ESPN)
Mason Murphy, OT, Auburn: Even with Brian Gutekunst consistently investing in the offensive line, the Packers are finding out early this season just how important it is to have quality depth across the offensive line. Murphy, a transfer from USC, would be a valuable depth addition to any offensive line. Murphy earned the starting right tackle spot for the Tigers and during his time with the Trojans, started games at right tackle (13), right guard (five) and left tackle (four). He’ll be tested early and often against a talented Texas A&M defensive line.
Albert Regis, DT, Texas A&M: At 6-1, 310 pounds, Regis is a compact defensive tackle who owns a strong lower half to put down roots in his gap and clog up running lanes. Through three games this season, Regis has recorded seven run stops and earned a run defense grade of 88.1 (PFF). While the stats may not show it, Regis is willing to do the dirty work.
USC vs. Illinois (11 a.m. FOX)
Ja’Kobi Lane, WR, USC: At 6-4, 195 pounds, Lane is a big-bodied wide receiver with excellent body control. Through three games this season, Lane has hauled in nine receptions for 239 yards and one touchdown. He’s averaging 26.6 yards per reception and already has two plays of 50-plus yards. Lane missed last week’s game against Michigan State due to injury, but was dressed in full pads for Tuesday’s practice.
JC Davis, OT, Illinois: Davis is in his second season with Illinois after transferring from New Mexico. The 6-3, 333-pound left tackle has started 17 games for Illinois. Davis has a strong anchor to slow down power rushers and the foot quickness to protect the corner. In four games this season, Davis has given up two sacks (both against Duke) and five pressures.
Alabama vs. Georgia (6:30 p.m. ABC)
James Smith, DT, Alabama: Another draft cycle, another Alabama defensive tackle who understands his role. A former five-star recruit, Smith is powerful at the point of attack with strong hands. He fires out of his stance and plays low to the ground. Through three games this season, he’s recorded three tackles for loss and seven run stops.
Lawson Luckie, TE, Georgia: The Georgia tight end shows urgency getting into his routes and has the athletic traits to be a dynamic playmaker. A year ago, he averaged nearly 15 yards per reception and has yet to become a focal point in Georgia’s aerial attack early this season. He brings great effort as a blocker and could be a potential target for Gutekunst if he wants to add another Bulldog to the family.
