Taco Bell fans, the Koeller Street spot is open again in Oshkosh

OSHKOSH − Taco Bell is back in business.

The 1140 S. Koeller St. location reopened July 3 after the branch was closed for more than two months after a fire April 20.

Renovations are still being made to the building’s exterior, but the branch is fully operational with regular in-store and drive-thru hours, according to staff.

Taco Bell’s lobby is open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. while the drive-thru closes at 1 a.m. Sunday to Thursday. The drive-thru is open until 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

The store was closed for repairs after an active fire in the attic resulted in parts of the restaurant’s interior sustaining smoke and water damage.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the attic, preventing the fire from spreading into the main kitchen and dining areas. No one was injured.
