For the second consecutive year, the Florida Panthers are Stanley Cup champions. And for the second consecutive year, the postgame celebration has continued into the next morning at the Elbo Room beach bar.
A staple at Fort Lauderdale since 1938, the Elbo Room was the first place outside Amerant Arena to welcome Lord Stanley’s Cup after the Panthers beat the Edmonton Oilers to become champions of the NHL. Last year, the Panthers won an exhilarating Game 7 to win the franchise’s first title. This year, the series victory took just six games.
The Elbo Room hosts several 24/7 web cams that lets interested parties around the world look in on the action there. According to WSVN in Miami, captain Aleksander Barkov stopped by about 7 a.m. with the Cup in hand. Fans are eager to see if it will make another appearance. You can follow the action live below:

Florida Panthers fans chant ‘8 more years’ for Sam Bennett
Sam Bennett won the Conn Smythe Award as playoff MVP with 15 goals over the postseason. He’s also due to be a free agent this offseason, something Panthers fans really wanted to fix at the Elbo Room on Wednesday morning.
Bennett and his fellow teammates joined in the chants himself for “eight more years,” signaling the 28-year-old could be signing a long-term deal to stay in Sunrise.
Matthew Tkachuk, Florida Panthers crash the party at Elbo Room
The Florida Panthers probably didn’t sleep much last night, if at all, after winning the Stanley Cup for a second consecutive season. Reports of the players bringing Lord Stanley’s chalice to the Elbo Room started hitting social media on the morning of June 18.
Florida Panthers parade route
The Stanley Cup victory parade is reportedly set for Sunday, June 22 along State Road A1A in Fort Lauderdale Beach. Details will be announced throughout the week.
