Commuters will soon see a new traffic signal at Thomasville and Rhea roads.
It’s slated to be operational by July 7, according to a Facebook post by Leon County Commissioner Brian Welch.
“It will flash yellow for a week or so prior to full activation,” Welch wrote. “As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns.”
The new signal comes as construction continues for the Bradford Hills master-planned community off Thomasville Road that’s sandwiched between Chiles High School and Bradfordville Road.
The 155-acre mixed-use development includes the construction of single-family homes, and several projects like the Grove at Bradford Hills (a 228-unit apartment complex), an assisted living facility, a daycare, a dog park, restaurants and more.
