Age: 2 ½ years
Orphaned Since: April 13

Birdie is the ideal size and weight to settle on your lap and into your home. Stop by today to adopt this mellow girl.
Roscoe
Breed: Black Mouth Cur/Pit Bull Terrier
Gender: Male
Weight: 44 pounds
Age: 2 ½ years
Orphaned Since: Feb. 26
Adoption Fee: $150
What better way to get acquainted with Roscoe, a black mouth cur/pit bull terrier mix, than to escort him on a doggy date to the park capped off by a stop for a cool pup cup. Roscoe is a tad critter-cautious when it comes to cats, small dogs and farm animals. His leash manners make hikes a pleasant experience, especially outside the shelter. Toys and treats occasionally dispensed reinforce and build on Roscoe’s command of obedience skills. After a workout (his wiggle butt requires a lot of energy) and wind-down routine can transition in a cuddle session that dog and human can embrace. Come to SPCA Florida for a doggy date with your new family member, Roscoe.
Alba
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Gender: Female
Weight: 8 pounds
Age: 1 ½ years
Orphaned Since: Oct. 19
Adoption Fee: $100
The word “alba” is derived from Latin and means “hope” and “new beginnings.” Alba, the domestic shorthair cat, personifies that glass-half-full mind-set and she waits for her family to spring her from SPCA Florida’s Gungha Din cattery. During her stay at the shelter, Alba’s recovered from various health ailments, including surgery (February) on her patella. This uniquely marked feline has black and white smudges on her face and nose, similar to polka dots. She dreams of sharing her love and affection with the family that’s ready to dial into her “new beginnings.” She’s ready for her nine lives and beyond with you, so meet her soon.
Drew
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Gender: Female
Weight: 2 ½ pounds
Age: 1 year
Orphaned Since: May 22, 2025
Adoption Fee: $100
Who knew, Drew, a domestic shorthair cat, prefers a table for one when it comes to meals. Make no mistake, Drew is social and playful when it comes to her roomies in SPCA Florida’s Tinker’s Legacy cattery. When wand or laser toys come onto the scene, Drew is pumped to chase and attack. Amp up her energy by introducing catnip into the mix. Affection comes on Drew’s terms. She’s not fond of being picked up, but park yourself on a bench and don’t be surprised if she hops up and allows ― actually demands ― an ear scratch. Bring a carrier and catnip (optional) to get to know and adopt Drew today.
