The Warriors made another offseason move Friday, adding Lachlan Olbrich to their summer league roster according to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc.
Olbrich saw his first bit of NBA experience last season with the Chicago Bulls, playing 37 games on a two-way contract.
While his averages weren’t the best, Olbrich showed real potential toward the end of the season, given an extra opportunity when Chicago’s frontcourt was depleted. In his final game of the year, Olbrich posted a triple-double, with 10 points, 10 assists, 15 rebounds and two steals in 31 minutes.
All in all, the Australian forward/center averaged 2.4 points, three rebounds and 1.1 assists in 9.3 minutes per game. If able to impress this summer, there’s a chance Olbrich could earn G-League or two-way consideration.
