Foothill Technology High School sent its 24th graduating class into the world at a ceremony on June 4 at Ventura College.
Out of 232 graduating seniors in Foothill’s class of 2026, more than 40% had a GPA of 4.0 or higher. The Ventura school’s highest academic honor, summa cum laude, went to 27 seniors with GPAs of 4.4 or higher.
At the commencement, graduating senior Alex Ramirez gave a speech called “The Making of a Photo,” and fellow graduate Aranza Narvaez Cruz gave her speech, “El Fin,” in Spanish.
