There are 40 UCLA Bruins on active rosters in the National Football League. With NFL preseason games about to start, here is a list of players to look for when watching these games.
Other than the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Chargers, which played last week in the Hall of Fame Game, this will be the first time many fans will be able to see their favorite UCLA football players march onto the field. Heading into these games, teams are allowed to have 90 players on their rosters. They will cut down their rosters to 53 players a few days after the final preseason game on Aug. 26, according to NFL Operations.
UCLA will have an abundance of former Bruins in professional jerseys during the first week of preseason games, some of them fighting for roster spots. Here is what you can expect given what we know on Aug. 6, according to ESPN.
