At the annual BottleRock festival in Wine Country, performers like Lil Wayne, The Foo Fighters, Backstreet Boys and others headlined the three-day event. Yet, it was a member of the Golden State Warriors that gave one of the most memorable performances of the weekend.
Over the weekend, Jimmy Butler took one of the stages at BottleRock to give his own rendition of Vanessa Carlton’s classic, “A Thousand Miles.”
While dancing on the stage alongside Teddy Swims, Butler made sure to tell the crowd in attendance, “don’t tell Steve,” regarding his jumping dancing while recovering from an ACL tear.
Butler tore his ACL on Jan. 19th and had surgery to repair the injury in his right knee on Feb. 9. Prior to his injury, Butler was averaging 20 points on 51.9% shooting from the field with 5.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists over 38 games for the Warriors.
