Seven SoCal bands, including one reuniting following more than 25 years of retirement, are joining forces to host a punk rock “extravaganza” in Apple Valley on Saturday, June 20.
Lucerne Valley’s Chuck will headline the “Punk in the Parking Lot’ concert, scheduled from noon to 10 p.m. at B&S Custom Guitars, 22421 Powhatan Road, organizers said.
The show will be the just second concert the band has performed in 27 years, according to guitarist, singer and self-described “aging punk rocker” Kris Reilly.
The group formed in 1993 and called it quits in 1999 before reuniting in 2025. They recently completed a small multi-state tour.
“When we played our first reunion show in Hesperia last fall, the energy was just fantastic, so we are excited to see our High Desert friends again,” Reilly said.
Lucerne Valley’s Chuck, previously known simply as Chuck, released two albums and played shows with legendary bands including Sublime and Face to Face.
The returning rockers will be joined by fellow Southern California-based bands No Consent, Since We Were Kids!, Western Conference, 12 Pack Assassins, Manual Fade, Heroes & Fools and others, organizers said.
Vendors will also be on hand.
Admission will be $12 at the door. Advanced tickets are also available online at eventbrite.com/e/lucerne-valleys-chuck-and-friends-are-back-in-the-high-desert-tickets-1989175863555.
