Rams rank last in 2026 NFL uniform rankings despite offseason updates

The Los Angeles Rams enter the 2026 season as Super Bowl favorites, but one analyst isn’t impressed with how they’ll look chasing a championship.

Sports Illustrated’s Mike Kadlick ranked all 32 NFL uniform sets ahead of the new season, placing the Rams dead last at No. 32 — below the New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers.

The verdict stings not just because of the ranking itself, but because Los Angeles unveiled new uniforms this offseason. While those tweaks were widely seen as a step in the right direction, the changes weren’t nearly enough for Kadlick.

The Rams downgraded significantly when they overhauled their uniforms in 2020, trading their timeless navy and gold get-ups for an awkward attempt at modern design. The removal of the tacky chest tag and the return of the horn on their jerseys are certainly an improvement heading into 2026, but Los Angeles should still have a much better look—especially as it enters the season as Super Bowl favorites.

The irony of the ranking is hard to ignore. The Rams head into 2026 with legitimate championship aspirations, yet they’ll do so in a uniform set that SI considers the worst in professional football. For now, they’ll have to settle for being the best-looking team in the standings — even if they’re the worst-looking one on the field.
