Firefighters are battling a fire in Cabazon that consumed a trailer and spread to nearby vegetation, consuming about six acres on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 20, according to Cal Fire.
The fire was reported around 1:40 p.m. at Lemon Street and Esperanza Avenue. At about 3 p.m., Cal Fire said the fire was about six acres and “firefighters on the ground and in the air are making good progress.”
It is one of several fires that have erupted throughout Southern California in the last few days, including ones near Homeland, Riverside and Angeles National Forest.
