Florida baseball’s SEC tournament game vs Alabama sees schedule change

Florida baseball’s matchup against Alabama in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals will now start a different time.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather in Hoover, Alabama, on Thursday, May 21, the first matchup between Mississippi State and Georgia has been moved up to 1 p.m. ET instead of the originally scheduled 4 p.m. slot.

The Gators’ game against the Crimson Tide is now scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET or will follow approximately 30 minutes after the first game. Both games will be televised on the SEC Network.

The No. 5 seed Gators (38-18) defeated No. 12 Vanderbilt 8-3 in the second round to advance, while the No. 4 Crimson Tide (37-18) received a double-bye.
