Lakers release injury report for Monday's game versus Bulls

The Los Angeles Lakers improved to 2-1 on their eight-game road trip on Saturday by overcoming a 15-point deficit midway through the fourth quarter and defeating the Dallas Mavericks, 116-110.

They will next face a young Chicago Bulls team that, like the Mavericks, loves to get out and run, and they will present a stronger challenge than their 23-22 record may suggest.

The Lakers’ flight to Chicago was delayed due to the massive winter storm that has engulfed a large part of the nation, but they finally managed to take off on Sunday afternoon. They will still be without Austin Reaves and rookie forward Adou Thiero, and in addition, forward Jake LaRavia is questionable with a left quad contusion.

LaRavia has been a bit inconsistent this season, but on Saturday, he had 13 points and six rebounds. If he’s unable to play, he will be missed against a Chicago squad that has a solid amount of length, athleticism and offensive firepower.

On the season, he is averaging 9.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, two assists and 1.3 steals a game while shooting 46.3% from the field and 34.4% from 3-point range.
