This incident is the seventh snake bite incident in the county since mid-March, the spokesperson said.

A 46-year-old Moorpark woman died after a rattlesnake bite in Thousand Oaks in March. A Newbury Park teen was hospitalized for days after a rattlesnake bite in the Santa Monica Mountains off Wendy Trailhead on March 20.
