Tulare County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a plane crash that was reported in Woodlake Saturday morning.
Authorities responded to the incident just before 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, near Road 204 and Avenue 336. The number of people on board and their conditions were not available.
Tulare County Sheriff’s Department officials have advised the public to avoid the area. The following road closures are currently in place:
Tulare County Fire Department was called to the scene but due to “multiple safety concerns” crews were delayed. According to ABC30, crews were waiting on Southern California Edison to arrive at the crash site, as multiple power lines are down.
“Emergency personnel remain on scene and are actively working the incident,” sheriff’s spokesperson Ashley Ritchie stated in a news release.
