The worst part about following a pro sports team throughout an exciting season is that it has to come to an end, almost always with a loss.
Such was the case for the Firebirds as they fell in the Pacific Division Finals to the Colorado Eagles. The final game of the season is often followed quickly by another rite of passage for the Firebirds players, the exit interview. First they chat with coach Derek Laxdal one on one and then they meet with the media for one last time.
