Jam band icons Phish bring multi-night run to Las Vegas Sphere

Known for turning every concert into a one-of-a-kind event, jam band Phish is bringing its improvisational stage performance to the Las Vegas Sphere, a venue designed to overwhelm the senses as much as surprise the ears.

The “Farmhouse” band’s residency follows successful multi-night performances at Las Vegas’ newest music venue, including U2, Dead & Company, Eagles, and Backstreet Boys.

Accompanying the genre-bending music is 160,000 square feet of all-encompassing psychedelic visuals that give concertgoers either the best concert experience of their lives or the worst hallucinogenic trip induced by hyper-realistic graphics.

Here is everything you need to know about visiting the Las Vegas Sphere during the Phish residency.

Phish residency Sphere dates

Phish is performing a nine-show residency across three weekends at the Sphere in Las Vegas starting in April. Here is the Thursday-Sunday schedule.

Ticket sales details and how to get seats

Fans still have several ways to secure tickets to the largely sold-out Phish residency, primarily on the secondary market.

Tickets for the residency officially went on sale to the general public in December 2025. A few tickets are still available through Ticketmaster, although seats in the 200-400 levels are mostly sold out.

CashorTrade is the premier resale website for jam bands like Dead & Company, Phish and Billy Strings. Download the app to find available tickets for purchase or ticket trade.

Which is the best seat section in the Sphere?

I’ve sat in every section of the Sphere. Choosing the best place to sit is a tough decision. Here are the options broken down based on my personal experience.

What makes the Las Vegas Sphere different from other concert venues?

The Sphere, a quick jet up the I-15 from the California High Desert, was designed first as a fully immersive media environment. Its full wraparound screen makes the concert experience unlike any other.

The audio is spot-focused, and depending on which of the four levels fans are seated, different sections hear subtle variations throughout the arena. At the Sphere, the audience is a part of the performance.

A residence at the Sphere means artists can develop and refine performances over multiple nights. They can use the venue as a creative laboratory rather than a plug-and-play stage.

Why Phish is uniquely suited for a Sphere residency

Phish has spent its entire career designing concerts as events, not just performances. Their shows feature abstract props and costumes, surreal visuals, themed shows, and more. The Sphere invites exactly that kind of out-of-the-box thinking.

Fans have grown to expect the unexpected at a Phish show. The Vermont-formed band has a long-standing tradition of never repeating the same set list. That approach works perfectly with the Sphere, which can display an almost infinite variety of visuals.
