Former Defensive Player of the Year award winner Draymond Green recently vowed to take on a new role in Golden State’s offense if LeBron James were to sign with the Warriors. Green discussed this recently on “The Draymond Green Show,” saying, “Someone asked me how the offense would run with LeBron James. Would it be me? Would it be Bron? I told him I said, “Man, it’ll be Bron, and I’m gonna be PJ Tucker, and I’m going to become the greatest corner three-point shooter ever.”
Considering Green is a 32.1% shooter from 3-point range, his frontcourt teammates Al Horford (37.6%) and Kristaps Porzingis (36.4%) may be better suited to stretch the floor.
However, if the former Michigan Spartan is able to become an outside threat, he’d add another dimension to Golden State’s offense if opposing defenses were preoccupied with James and two-time MVP Stephen Curry.
