Chargers OL depth chart: Who will make the 53-man roster?

Over the next few weeks ahead of training camp, I will continue to break down the depth chart for each Chargers position.

Next, I project what the offensive line room will look like heading into the 2026 season.

LT: Rashawn Slater

After missing the entire 2025 season with a ruptured patellar tendon suffered early in training camp, Slater is on pace to be fully cleared for camp. When healthy, he is one of the league’s best left tackles.

LG: Kayode Awosika

Signed as a free agent in March after four years with the Lions, Awosika spent the spring taking first-unit repetitions at left guard. While second-round draft pick Jake Slaughter and Trevor Penning will provide heavy competition in training camp, Awosika’s experience at the position gives him the early edge.

C: Tyler Biadasz

The Chargers made a massive pre-free agency splash by securing the former Pro Bowler on a three-year, $30 million contract. Biadasz serves as a significant, durable upgrade over the retired Bradley Bozeman.

RG: Cole Strange

Another offseason addition, Strange signed a two-year contract following a 2025 campaign where he started 14 games. The former first-round pick has a major advantage because he already knows Mike McDaniel’s scheme from their time together in Miami.

RT: Joe Alt

After a highly promising rookie season was cut short by injury, the former first-round pick is rehabilitating alongside Slater and enters 2026 fully healthy. He rounds out what the Chargers hope will be one of the most dominant tackle duos in the NFL.
