Two castaways were sent home on “Survivor” season 50 — one in a nail-biting blindside.
After celebrating the boosted $2 million prize money — thanks to billionaire YouTuber, “MrBeast” and his “Super Beware advantage” — the castaways returned to business and faced a twist that split the Manulevu tribe in half, resulting in two tribal councils and two torches snuffed on night 21.
After two intense tribal councils, Emily Flippen and long-time player Ozzy Lusth were voted out. Lusth was blindsided by his allies, including Jonathan Young and Rizo Velovic.
“I can’t explain how painful this is to anyone,” Lusth said.
The individual immunity-advantage challenge required castaways to balance on floating platforms in the ocean. Young won immunity and an advantage after Tiffany Ervin initially was declared the winner. However, she did the challenge incorrectly, according to an off-camera review, so she was disqualified.
Young’s advantage gave him voting power: He was allowed to strategize with the two tribes.
One “Billie Eilish boomerang Idol” remains in the hands of Velovic, gifted by Genevieve Mushaluk, who was voted off in episode 6.

Who was voted off ‘Survivor’ last night?
After another twist, the Manulevu tribe was split into two groups of four after the immunity challenge, so there were two tribals, and two castaways in jeopardy. Because Young won the challenge he earned the advantage to strategized with both groups.
Flippen was the first target mentioned, but Flippen pitched Devens, saying she could persuade Devens to play his idol for her. Flippen and Devens actually were working together to vote out Fields.
On the other tribe, Lusth quickly became the target as he was seen as a threat and appeared complacent with his position. He also overshared his plan to make it to the final three with Fields to Aubry Bracco ,who soon after realized how much of a threat he was.
At the first tribal council, Devens’ played his idol for himself. The other votes were for Flippen and Fields. Fields used her extra vote against Flippen, which tied the votes. In a revote, Flippen received the majority and was sent home becoming the sixth member of the jury.
At the second tribal council, Lusth was blindsided with an idol in his possession. He became the seventh member of the jury. Lusth was shocked and blamed himself for not following his intuition.
