A former corrections officer has been arrested in connection with an armed bank robbery nearly a year ago, according to Port St. Lucie police officials.
Mary Jane Adolphus, 47, was arrested May 6 and charged with robbery with a firearm and grand theft of property valued between $750 and $5,000, according to the St. Lucie County Jail website. She remained there May 7 without bail, according to the website.
The armed bank robbery occurred June 6, 2025, at a PNC Bank location on Southwest Gatlin Boulevard, according to police officials.
A news conference with Police Chief Leo Niemczyk is scheduled for 8 a.m. May 7 with more information.
