It’s time to vote for the Detroit Free Press Buffalo Wild Wings Girls Prep Athlete of the Week.
This week’s poll features three players – two soccer and one softball – who had standout performances during the week of April 19-25.
Voting will close at noon on Friday, May 1.
Here are the nominees (listed in alphabetical order by last name):
Kylie Condon, Utica, softball
The senior center fielder was a contributor for Utica’s offense in the team’s five game stretch last week. Condon hit .611 with 11 hits, including seven RBIs, three doubles and a home run.
Jillian Farago, Gibraltar Carlson, soccer
Farago had a strong week on offense for Carlson in its four games last week. Carlson hosted an invitational tournament against Temperance Bedford and Riverview on April 25, when the sophomore scored seven goals across both games.
Madisyn Smith, Allen Park Cabrini, soccer
Cabrini picked up wins last week against Riverview Gabriel Richard and Marine City Cardinal Mooney. Smith scored four goals across both games.
