One person killed in North Fort Myers, Lee County sheriff says

Authorities are investigating after one person died in North Fort Myers.

About 6 p.m. April 30, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office announced on the social media platform X that deputies were working an active scene at the 16000 Block of Shelby Lane.

The sheriff’s office’s Major Crimes Unit responded. Authorities said the scene was contained and there was no threat to the public.
