A free screening of “National Treasure” will kick off the return of the “Movie Nights in the D” series, the Downtown Detroit Partnership program that brings outdoor movie screenings to Campus Martius Park every Friday from July 3 to Aug. 28.
“National Treasure,” starring Nicolas Cage, will play on July 3, reps for the series announced Tuesday.
Other movies in this year’s program are as follows:
All screenings begin at 7 p.m. Chairs and blankets are welcome, and guests are encouraged to arrive early.
Live entertainment, giveaways and pre-show activities will be held before select screenings.
